• The information you provide on the lottery application(s) will be checked for accuracy. False information may disqualify an application, per BOE Policy 5117.2R (Section F, 19).
• Please fill out a separate High School Lottery Application for each of your child(ren). However, if twins or triplets are applying to the same grade only one application is required.
• Please submit one application for each child. Duplicates will be removed.
• If your child has a sibling at AITE who will be graduating in 2027, the application is not considered "sibling" status. The sibling must be physically at the school for the 2027-28 school year to be considered a sibling.
• AITE is a science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) magnet school. Due to its smaller enrollment and STEAM focus, AITE offers about half as many courses as either Stamford High School or Westhill High School. In addition, most elective courses at AITE are STEAM-focused. Students will be required to choose from among these STEAM-focused electives to fill their schedules, especially during their junior and senior years. For more information, refer to the AITE Program of Studies. Families are strongly encouraged to take their child's academic interests into consideration when deciding whether to apply for a seat at AITE.
• The home address provided on the magnet school lottery application must match the home address provided during registration. Home addresses are subject to verification. Providing an inaccurate home address may result in your magnet school lottery application being disqualified.
• Specialized programs for students with disabilities are housed at select schools throughout the district. If your child is recommended for a specialized program (Arbor, Bridge K, CORE, STAR, and TEAM) for students with disabilities, it may not be at a magnet school.
• The deadline for submitting AITE Magnet School Lottery applications is January 15th, 2027 at 4:00p.m.
