Welcome to Ann Arbor Public Schools!
 
Enrolling in school is a two-part process that begins by completing this neighborhood pre-enrollment. Currently, we are only accepting applications for students that live within the AAPS attendance boundaries.
 
Once our office receives and reviews the application, we will send the parent or guardian an email invitation to complete the full enrollment. When completing the full enrollment, you will be able to upload supporting documents, including transcripts and other paperwork (if applicable).
 
Once the full enrollment is complete, families can call or visit their local AAPS school for information.
 
It is our desire that your family’s experience with Ann Arbor Public Schools will be one of fulfillment, enrichment, and exceptional opportunities! 
 


    Student Information

    Please enter the student name as it appears on the birth certificate, passport or other official document.

    If you are a currently approved AAPS Schools of Choice or Non Resident Child of Employee student applying for an In-District transfer, please select yes that you reside in the AAPS area.

    Student Address

    Enter the Michigan address at which the student lives (or will live) the majority of the time. If student splits time between parents, please enter one location to be used as the primary address during the pre-enrollment process. An opportunity to enter a second address will be offered during the enrollment process.

    Ann Arbor Public Schools treats the following signature like a signature on a paper form.

    I verify the above information to be correct, and I understand that completion of this form does not guarantee placement in a school. I further understand that I cannot register my child without appropriate address documentation and that only one application can be submitted per child.

    I understand that a child admitted under false information is illegally enrolled and could result in disenrollment upon discovery. I further understand that it is my responsibility as the Parent/Legal Guardian to immediately inform the district of any changes to the information provided.


    Submission Confirmation Email

    This is where the submission confirmation email will be sent to. Please note that, this email address will also be used for important correspondance from AAPS in regards to this application/pre-enrollment.
